My story

 
Hello everyone!

At the start of March, I'm going to be running in the Edinburgh half-marathon to raise money for the charity 'Scottish Love in Action'.
SLA cares for destitute, orphan children in Tuni, Andhra Pradesh, India, by feeding, clothing, housing and educating them.
So far SLA has given hope to children by building schools, clinics and homes for them. With the Guild's support this work can be expanded and more children enabled to escape the poverty trap.

On a personal note, this half marathon should be a bit of a challenge for me- so far, I've never run that kind of distance before and have only a few weeks to prepare myself.... but it's something I've literally always wanted to do and I really appreciate any support you're prepared to offer.
