In April, I am running across the Sahara Desert, 155 miles in 7 days, and its a self sufficient race! As well as the second highest sand dunes to go over, a 55 mile stage to complete, and temperatures of up to 50 degrees, I have to carry all of my gear for the week from the start line - except for water! then theres the scorpions, camel spiders, snakes.......I could go on!

I am doing all this as a personal challenge, so have paid for my own place, so every penny you donate will go to helping save the Gorillas. Whilst I wont see any in the desert, they are the most beautiful creatures, and very much like us in that they feel love, sadness, fear, and they are being hunted to extinction. The Gorilla Organisation help to provide a safer environment to protect this magnificent species, so please give generously.
