Our vision is that patients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses in our area can choose how and where they want to be cared for towards the end of life. We provide 24/7 responsive Hospice at Home care and support for all the family during the illness and through bereavement.

Story

Many of you will know that on the 1st of June 2004 I lost my big brother to a brain tumour. He was a young man of a mere 48 years when he was taken from us. He was the funniest  man i have ever had the pleasure of knowing, we used to laugh so much together and i miss him more than words can even begin to describe.

In his final stages he was cared for by the Iain Rennie nurses. They are, quite frankly, Angels. They made Chris as comfortable as possible during what was an horrific time. All there funds come from fundraisers like me, I'd really like your help in making their work possible for others in the future.

Chris was a very sporty guy and would thoroughly approve of my choice of fundraising, he is a constant source of inspiration as i pound out the miles running, cycling and swimming. I just wish he could be at the finish line to congratulate me and then make some sarcastic comment about all the others finishing hours ago!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Iain Rennie Hospice At Home will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
