I am sure that anyone who has spent more than 5 minutes with me over the last couple of months has been told at great length about the rather ambitious challenge that I have set myself for later this year.

For those that have managed to avoid me…..I have signed up to cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats this September. It’s a journey of approximately 1000 miles over 12 days and I'll be covering about 90 miles a day.

I'm doing it to raise money for St Johns Hospice which is a charity based on the Wirral that is very close to my heart. In order to take part in the challenge I need to raise a minimum of £2750 by July 8th! Raising this figure will be a challenge in itself and any donations will be greatly appreciated.
