Thanks for visiting Piccadilly Motors fundraising page.
In an effort to give our fundraising for our chosen charity the Candelighters Trust a further boost, Piccadilly Motors have entered a team into the German equivalent of the Knaresborough Bed Race. Piccadilly’s team the “Piccadilly Plodders” will travel by road to Friedrichroda on the 3rd July to make sure they arrive in time for the pre-race festivities with the race taking place on Sunday 5th July 2009. The team consists of six male runners including Piccadilly’s Managing Director, Simon Watts and the Dealer Principal, Jason Lovell. The German organisers have kindly agreed to lend us a bed for the race and also a local female steerer who will be familiar with the route. Friedrichroda is approx 15 miles away from Knaresborough’s twin town of Bebra and if the team have enough time they plan to pay it a visit.
