Story

Pete is under starters orders when he takes on the Sport Relief mile on Plymouth Hoe!

Pete has made sure he starts his training nice and early, and a few laps of the pitch has made the perfect warm up!

So please help Pete raise money for Sport Relief by pledging an amount, however small it may be!

All the money you raise for Sport Relief is spent by Comic Relief to help disadvantaged people, both at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries, to turn their lives around.

Your fundraising cash might be spent helping kids in Africa get into primary school or supporting an isolated older person in the UK to meet other people so they feel less lonely. But one thing's for sure - the money you raise will help to make the world of difference to people's lives.

For Sport Relief 2010, we’re highlighting three of the many issues your cash will help to tackle - children who live on the streets or work in dangerous conditions, people affected by malaria and local UK projects.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
