Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Mongol Rally

The first Mongol Rally took place in 2004, in which 6 teams started and 4 completed the course. It was started by the Adventurists who were trying to make the world less boring while helping people in the process.

The Challenge
There are no rules, no set route, no assistance on the road. Teams must drive ridiculously ill-suited 1 litre cars across several countries covering over 15, 000 kilometres in order to donate their car, their time and the money they raised. Over 500 cars depart London, Spain, Italy simultaneously and race to Mongolia to donate their cars and an additional £1000 for charities – £500 of which must go to the designated Mongol Rally charity for 2011: The Christina Noble Children’s Foundation. We have chosen The Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund as our second charity; a charity very dear to our team members' hearts.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
