Hi, my name's Pip, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

 

Last May, my brother Sam was diagnosed with mesothelioma, which is an asbestos related cancer. He's 58 years old and married with an eleven year old son. Unfortunately, there is no known cure and he has been given between 12 and 18 months to live. He's undergone clinical trials in Frankfurt, to which he is responding quite well but there are no guarentees.

 

Therefore, i've decided to do the Bath Half Marathon with my daughter in order to raise money and awareness for research in mesothelioma. I would welcome any donations to the worthy cause of the June Hancox Mesothelioma Research Fund.
