This April, I am one of 350 Sheffield students hitchiking to CROATIA for charity. The idea behind Bummit is that we have to get from Sheffield to Zadar in a week, spending less than £15 on transport and food. There's a big party in Zadar at the end of the week, the thought of which should spur us on! It's a brilliant chance to travel and meet lots of new people. And maybe even practise my Croatian...
So I'm asking you to sponsor me. All money raised goes to Sheffield Rag who then donate it to a variety of charities, which this year include The Anthony Nolan Trust, The Parkinsons Society, and some local charities and hospices. They are also looking for a charity in Croatia to support. If you leave your address in the comments section when you donate I will also send you information about how the hitchike goes and how you can follow me on the internet while I travel.
If I don't raise £200 in sponsorship I have to pay that amount, but there is no limit to how much you want to give me :o). The person who raises the most gets a prize.
