On the 16th October 2009, teams of ...er.. highly tuned athletes will be participating in the Charity Pirate Indoor Row at Langstone Technology Park in aid of the Elizabeth Foundation. The event will be an epic struggle of man against man, woman against woman, and company against company... The aim is to cover in excess of 100km on concept2 indoor rowers in 6 hours.
The Elizabeth Foundation is a national charity supporting infants and pre-school aged children with hearing loss and their families, by providing help, support and encouragement. It is the Elizabeth Foundation's belief that it is the right of every deaf child to be given the opportunity to learn to listen and talk.
