The long held dream of a Doctor and Mother of four young children is becoming a reality after her tragic death in December 2007 due to a brain tumour.
Eye specialist, Doctor Fiona Dolan, had planned to travel to to treat cataract and trachoma sufferers once her family commitments allowed her. After her death despite their heartache, family friends and colleagues were determined that Fiona’s ambition to improve eye care in poorer countries would be fulfilled.
