Story

Thanks for visiting our Fundraising Page

The long held dream of a Doctor and Mother of four young children is becoming a reality after her tragic death in December 2007 due to a brain tumour.

Eye specialist, Doctor Fiona Dolan, had planned to travel to Africa to treat cataract and trachoma sufferers once her family commitments allowed her. After her death despite their heartache, family friends and colleagues were determined that Fiona’s ambition to improve eye care in poorer countries would be fulfilled.  They set up the Fiona Dolan Fund to raise money to send eye specialists to places like and parts of Africa (Please see attached or look at the website www.fionadolanfund.com)

Partners, Staff and friends of Macnabs wish to contribute to the fund by way of organising a sponsored walk.

Pittenweem to Crail is approximately 8 miles and should take us around 4 to 5 hours.

The Fiona Dolan Fund is a registered Scottish Charity, Number SC039601.
