Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

On the 2nd of April, 2002, my dad died of cancer.

At 10pm on the 16th of September, I will start walking the 17 miles it will take to follow the path of London Underground's Circle Line above ground. I hope to finish sometime before the end of the night/year. :)

I will be doing this to raise money for so that Maggie's Centres can build a London centre. Maggie's Centres are for anybody who has, or who has had cancer. They are also for their families, their friends and their carers. They have launched a campaign to raise the £3.5m needed to build Maggie's London. This particular event, the Metro Life Hike, has been organised in conjunction with Open House, and they hope it will raise £300,000. Hikers like me will have the unique opportunity to see inside some of the most spectacular buildings in London by night. For more information on the event please visit http://www.maggiescentres.org/metrolifehike Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Maggie's Centres will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support. Ann
