I ran the Flora London Marathon (my first ever marathon) yesterday.  I finished in 5 hours 15 minutes and 2 seconds apparently coming 7,680 out of over 35,000 people.  I had a totally amazing day and I just wanted to thank all the people that have sponsored me so far.  ECDP are over the moon with the amount of money raised (well in excess of my initial target of £500) and are discussing today how they are going to allocate it so I will report back when there's some news.

If you haven't yet sponsored me you can still do so.  I'm raising money for Essex Coalition of Disabled People.  I volunteer for their Independent Visitor Scheme which empowers and supports disabled people to get involved with activities in their area.  This could be joining a social or leisure group, enrolling in a college course or doing voluntary or paid work.
