Torture tries to destroy lives. We won't let it. We stand with survivors, providing therapy and support, and fighting for change together.

Story

We both have our 50th birthdays in 2008.  We wanted to do something memorable, exciting, and worthwhile to celebrate our mid-life crisis.  So we are going to cycle 500 miles in Vietnam in November, in aid of the Medical Foundation.  Unlike Cambridge, Vietnam has actual hills.

The Medical Foundation is an incredibly good cause (details to the left).  Have a look at their website, and in particular some of their clients' stories, to get a sense of who the Foundation is helping.

If you'd like to support us, you can

* Give using your credit card right now.   The Medical Foundation will be able to reclaim gift aid.  (There is a modest transaction fee: see (*) below.)

* Send a cheque (it can be a CAF cheque) payable to The Medical Foundation, to us at 71 Humberstone Rd, Cambridge CB4 1JD.  Do sign a gift aid fom too if you are a tax payer.

We are covering all our own costs, so everything you give will go straight to the Medical Foundation.  Thank you so much!
