Story
Hello my name is Peter Jay aka PJay, thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I wanted to make good use of all the running that I now do in the Gym every morning by entering the Brighton Marathon to help raise awareness & funds for the Alziemers Society.
My mum has had Alziemers for 12 years now who my very patient brother Marcus has given up his life to care for her 24 hours a day. I'm unable to do what Marcus does on a daily basis with his love & care, I admire him tremendously for his patience, I'm also amazed that Marcus is able to retain his own sanity! but what I can, and want to do is help in another way by raising funds to fight and hopefully cure this dreadfull disease which has taken our mum as we used to know her away from us.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Please dig deep or whatever you can afford, and please donate now to sponsor my 26 Mile Brighton Marathon 2012, who knows it could be you, me or someone you know or care for who will need the cure in later life.
Thank you very very much.......PJay

My mum Mr's Enid Glynn passed away peacefully in her sleep yesterday; she had slowly deteriorated over a period of 13 years with the Alzheimer’s disease, these last few weeks she had lost her ability to balance and had refused to eat too, I wanted to thank everyone for your kind donations.
I have secured a position in the Brighton Marathon 2013, I would very much appreciate your continued support.
