This summer, Molson Coors ‘Corona’ brand will be sponsoring the 2011 Bournemouth Air Festival ‘Night Air’ evening programme of fantastic entertainment. So, what better way to kick start the summer than with a charity raft race to celebrate the much anticipated event and raise money for our favourite charity Whizz-Kidz!
The ‘Plane Sailing’ raft race will be taking place at 11am Thursday 7 July, at Alum Chine Beach, Bournemouth. All participating teams will need to raise £100 to race their rafts and rules state three team members must get from the start groyne to the finish on board a raft. Fancy dress and homemade rafts are a must, inflatables are allowed, but boats & oars are not! Food will be served afterwards for all competitors and there’s also a Corona prize for the winning (adult) team.
