Thanks for taking the time to visit the Play2Give page. This July sees the return of the Play2Give football tournament to raise money for our the Oxford Children's Hospital.
July 15th will see children's teams from local football clubs take part in a special tournament, aged from u7s to under 10s, all in the name of this fantastic cause to help youngsters treated at the Children's Hospital and make a real difference to their lives.
As well as the 7 a side tournament at Oxford City Football Club, the day will include lots of fun and entertainment for everyone - from the children, adults, and families to the community. Fun amusements and activities on the day will include Oxford United with beat the keeper and mini skills sessions, to a velcro fly wall, rodeo bull, 3aside mini footie pitch for under 3's, the glitter fairy - for all things glitter which the girls are bound to love - ice cream van, coconut shy, food and drink, and a raffle... it will be a truly fun fantastic day and we appreciate any support!
The money you will donate will help fund new specialist equipment and enhance facilities beyond NHS standard all to help sick and poorly youngsters - many thousands of them every year.
The last Play2Give men's charity tournament in 2009 raised over £5,100 for our wonderful local children's hospital at the John Radcliffe - and with your help, we can raise as much money again, all money raised will go directly to the Children's Hospital charity.
Play2Give was set up by Oxfordshire lad Andrew Baker in 2007, as he was a former patient of the children's hospital following treatment to major brain surgery when he was 12. Andrew, now organises this event with friends, including fellow supporter Dale Harris whose daughter is treated at the hospital for spina bifida.
This page is set up for anyone who generally wants to make a donation towards the good work that Play2Give does, or those who are unable to attend the day but would like to make a donation, with thanks to our wonderful main sponsors Breckon & Breckon who are generously funding the whole event to make this all possible.
