Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

The COINS Foundation seeks to work in genuine partnership to address the needs of the most excluded communities in the world. It believes in supporting projects that are sustainable; which do the greatest good for the greatest number; which model practices that can be replicated and which demonstrate the civilising nature of Inclusion.

The COINS Foundation receives sponsorship for all of its costs. This means that 100% of the money raised goes to our project partners. In its first round of grants in September 2008, COINS Foundation supported projects to build decent homes for nearly 500 orphans across Zambia, Uganda and Mozambique; it provided funds to build a secondary school in Uganda and a new Orthopaedic Surgical centre in Lusaka.

COINS stands for COnstruction & INSurance – representing the industries with which it works. The Coins Foundation seeks to invigorate and inspire the construction and insurance industries and invites companies to take advantage of its co-ordinated framework for their CSR activities and charitable giving.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The COINS Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
