UPDATE
In glorious sunshine and 29 degree heat, I finished the Stockholm Marathon in a modest 5hrs 21 minutes. A full race report will follow shortly !

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the charity Epilepsy Bereaved.
This summer I will be running the Stockholm Marathon (May 30th) and walking the Tour du Mont Blanc in 7 days (August). I encourage you to take part by sponsoring me in this charity double-header !
Three people die every day from epileptic seizures in the UK with many more deaths estimated worldwide. In 2007, my brother Matthew died suddenly and unexpectedly from a seizure. He had shown no signs of epilepsy and was a fit, healthy 27 year old. Thanks to consistent lobbying for over 10 years, Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) is now recognised in a growing number of countries as an official cause of death. Despite ongoing research, however, very little is understood about it.
Epilepsy Bereaved is a small charity without a dedicated fundraising department. Their mission is as follows and your donation - no matter how small - will have a tangible impact:
- Support for bereaved families
- Raising awareness
- Research into the prevention of SUDEP
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and secure. If you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully for sponsoring me !
