Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When someone you know is seriously injured and their world and that of their family is turned upside down, it strikes a cord.  It was just such an event last year that made me think about what could I do to help.

Hearts & Balls are a charity dedicated to assisting seriously injured rugby players.  They help them take the necessary steps forward in order to get their lives back. Rugby is a game that many of us have taken a huge amount from and it is only right that we try and give something back.

I am privileged to be able to use my health to raise funds for such a worthy cause.  The challenge of running the Berlin Marathon on 20th September 2009  is both exhilarating and daunting.  Running on a treadmill for 20 minutes and then taking to the road for longer distances is a totally different experience, as I have found out.

Knowing I have your support will not only help me make the finish line with so much more determination but also make a difference to the lives of rugby players who can play no more.

Thank you for your generosity.

Paul
