What we’re up to

We are cycling from Harrogate to Blackpool on Tuesday 30 August which is about 80 miles.  To regular fitness bods this is probably a warm up distance but To Paul and Ian who have both been on a bike once in the last 12 months it’s rather more challenging than that!

Imagine sitting on what I am sure is a razorblade for 10 hours, clipped into pedals you have no idea how to get out of, peddling away while trying to keep breathing at the same time.  I’d love to say it was flat but unfortunately someone put the Pennines in the way.  Obviously Paul and Ian are normally huge fitness freaks but have decided to do nothing over the last 12 months to make things more of a challenge.  They have even gone the extra mile and lost their washboard stomachs replacing them with something more closely resembling the Pennines!

 Why

Donna’s Dream House is a great charity run by a truly inspirational team.  They provide holidays and respite for children with terminal illnesses and their families.  It’s a privilege to raise money for them!
