About my charity : Grove House Grove House
Grove House leads the way in supporting patients, families and friends living with cancer or a life-threatening illness in St.Albans, Harpenden, Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding areas. At Grove House we believe everyone affected by cancer or life-threatening illness has the right to access specialist care to have the best possible quality of life. We help alleviate symptoms, like pain, or some of the feelings of helplessness and vulnerability, that come with life-threatening illness.

My personal message:

On the 26th March this year I will be travelling to the North Pole to run a marathon (26.2 miles)

Apparently it's a bit chilly up there, but luckily I have prepared thoroughly by getting very fat!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Albans And Dacorum Day Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

PS All the money that is raised will go directly to the charity and not towards the cost of the race.
