Ok, it might seem selfish asking you all to give some money just because we are getting married. It could be better perhaps to give money to really desperate people. However, our rivers are pretty desperate too. Climate change, abstraction and pollution are killing our rivers. Protect the rivers, protect the trout, protect water voles, protect frogs and rare insects and butterflies. The WTT is a grass roots charity that empowers communities to help save their little bit of river. It brings people together. They bring trout to classrooms helping younger generations appreciate living things. It's a little start to teach young generations about stewardship and respect. So, folks it's about more than Polly going fishing...honest.
