On sunday 25th April I will be running the London marathon again. I am raising funds for ACE - Aid Conservation through Education, a small volunteer-run charity based in Newmill, Cornwall. ACE assists nine rural primary schools in southwestern Uganda. You can find out more about ACE and see pictures of the schools at www.ace-charity.org.uk. Your donations and cheering on the day are greatly appreciated!

By supporting ACE you can be sure that your gifts will be well spent, as ACE can make a little money go a long way.

• £1.50 will provide 50 pencils or exercise books

• £4 will provide 50 pens

• £10 will finance enough exercise books and pencils for a child for one year

• £23 will buy a double desk and bench seat

• £90 will finance one year’s part-time teacher training

• £6,500 will build a classroom
