Although my late grandfather, Popo, was blinded by retinitis pigmentosa for most of his life, he refused to let it hold him back. In his memory, I will be supporting Fight for Sight by running in two separate events: the British 10k on 6 July, and the Run-to-the-Beat Half Marathon on 5 October.
