This is our first year of fundraising and we're not too sure whether this will be successful or not. We sincerely hope so as we feel this is such a worthwhile cause.
There are currently over 20 million battery hens in the UK producing cheap eggs for the consumer. Most of these eggs are used in the processed food industry and therefore are ‘hidden’ from view just like the hens in their cages.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor The Battery Hen Welfare Trust.
If you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
