Florence Marathon · 29 October 2004

Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation. We work in over 70 countries - in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. We are independent, neutral and impartial. We provide medical care where it's needed most.

Story

Hello.

It seems that I'm trying to run a long way. And on cobbles, in the glorious city of Florence. Goodness knows if I'll do it. But I'll try, like.

I'm not running it for charity, I'm running it for me - but I thought that, if I can also raise a few hundred quid for a cause I've long supported, it might help drag me those last few hundred metres to the finish line.

Here's the blurb from this website:

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Médecins Sans Frontières UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So if you do give some dosh, then you're totally fabboo. If you don't, then you smell. And which would you rather be? Fabboo or smelly? Love and kisses A.
