Story

Help support Bristol's human milk bank!

The Breast Milk Bank at Southmead Hospital is the first in the South West and has been opened thanks to over £70,000 of donations to the Precious Drops Campaign.

The money has been used to create the milk bank at Southmead’s maternity unit which will supply donor breast milk to premature babies in the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit. As the milk bank develops, the aim is supply donor milk to other units across the South West.

It will cost up to £5,000 in running costs alone to keep the Milk Bank operating every year so we still need your help!

Please do give generously and support this wonderful cause which local Mums, Dads, families and companies all strived hard to support. Thanks to you new babies lives will be saved.

Thank you.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor support the campaign.  North Bristol Nhs Trust Charitable Funds will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
