2010 Asics British 10K London Run · 11 July 2010 ·

Vision Action aim to make eye care accessible and affordable overseas. We help the world to see through innovative programmes that reach out to some of the most remote communities throughout Africa. We began in 1989 and will continue until everyone across Africa has access to basic eye care.

Story

This year one of the charities I am supporting is Vision  Aid Overseas. I will be running the Asics British 10K on Sunday 11th July.

Vision Aid Overseas is a charity that is close to my heart. I believe that the work done by the charity transforms the lives of individuals and I have been an active supporter for around 10 years now.

670 million people - 10% of the world's population - are disadvantaged by poor vision and a lack of glasses. Vision Aid Overseas is an international charity dedicated to transforming access to eyecare services in developing countries. Vision Aid Overseas works for a world in which everyone has access to eyecare and spectacles.

I am running the British 10k this year along with three other races. Please dig deep and sponsor me for any one (or all) of the causes.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
