Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Some of you may know I have unfinished business with the London Marathon having ended up in the medics tent at mile 17 in 2012. I have decided to seek closure this year by running this horrific race one last time.
I'm running for Sobell House in Oxford. This amazing hospice cared so
brilliantly for my beautiful sister-in-law, Rebecca, before she sadly lost her battle with cancer last year, age 41. This relatively insignificant challenge is my small way of thanking the hospice for all the help and support they gave Rebecca and her family, but especially for the
support they gave, and continue to give my brother Guy and his two young children.
Rebecca was an inspirational character and a high achiever. Kind hearted, caring, determined and focussed. I am borrowing all these traits from her to get through the 26 miles and raise as much money as I can for the hospice.
If you'd like to sponsor me it would mean a lot to me and those who
Sobell House will support in the future.
