Story
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
Throughout 2009 Profile, is raising money for our adopted dolphin, a resident bottlenose dolphin that resides in the Moray Firth. Our dolphin is one of 130 animals, part of the only surviving population of its kind in the North Sea. Although we are doing lots of other fundraising events, we have decided to celebrate Profile's 20th Birthday in style by Skydiving in aid of WDCS. It will be taking place on the 13th June 2009 in Oxfordshire.
There are an infamous four taking part in this Jump for WDCS:
Our Sales Director Alison Dippenaar(www.justgiving.com/alisonjumpsforwdcs), our Project Manager Matt Malone (www.justgiving.com/mattjumpsforwdcs), our Accounts Assistant Laura McCullough (www.justgiving.com/laurajumpsforwdcs) and our Admin and Marketing Assistant Alexa Radcliffe (www.justgiving.com/lexijumpsforwdcs). This fundraising page has been made so that those who wish to support us as a whole can donate once. We each have a target of £500 - so this page hopefully will be an added bonus for WDCS, and will go towards our fundrasing target of £5000.00 (www.justgiving.com/profileadoption).
WDCS addresses the conservation concerns and the welfare needs of cetaceans wherever they occur. WDCS has offices in the UK, US, Germany, Australia and Argentina and are active in over 25 countries. Their network of experts works tirelessly to campaign for global protection for these animals and they fund and manage field projects, research, conservation and educational initiatives, aimed at reducing and ultimately eliminating the threats to whales and dolphins, and raising awareness of the need to protect them in their natural environment. For more information, please go to www.wdcs.org.uk.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Whale And Dolphin Conservation Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. (Plus they won't send you lots of random emails or give your details out to anyone else - promise!)
So please sponsor us now!
