We’re the National Deaf Children’s Society. We're the charity for deaf children with any level of hearing loss. Whatever the question or challenge, we’ll help find a way through. We believe in a world where anything is possible for deaf children.

Story

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Your support is appreciated, more than you'll ever know.

People who know me will know that i'm not keen on running etc (it wont take a genuis to work that one out). However. the one thing that is important to me is my children & the NDCS.

Without the support of the NDCS Mitchell and Holly would be no where with their progression and learning.

Mitchell was diagnosed late and needs loads of help.

Because of the NDCS we know how to get this help and we have.

if the NDCS does not get the funds to support children like Mitchell and Holly these kids will be left behind and never have the opportunity to develop as 'NORMAL' children.

Just because they are deaf doesn't mean they are different or unworthy. They have every right to a normal life/education and with groups like the NDCS supporting them they have a chance.

Yes, i admit there is a chance i wont do the 26.2 miles, but i promise you this (to everyone who has donated & who is thinking of donating) i will walk/run/crawl till i bleed or pass out in order to finish this marathon (or as much as possible) so that people donate as much as they can afford and the NDCS continue to support children like Mitchell & Holly.

Your support is appreciated. It means a lot to me and nikki. More than i/we can ever explain.

Paul
