Story
On my birthday two years ago, my Great Aunty Betty sadly passed away after suffering from dementia. As a result of her condition, she did not even know who I was the last time I saw her. I would not wish this upon anyone and hope that this contribution can go some way to helping other families who are losing their loved ones to this awful condition.
On 24th March 2013, I will be spending my 29th birthday morning running the Bradford 10k to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society in memory of my 'Loving Aunt Bet'. Please donate to this cause if you can and if you are local, do come and cheer me on.
I am also running for Terry McDermott, who is my girlfriend's Grandad and is currently suffering from Alzheimer's.
