Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Through the power of music, it breaks through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation. The charity does this through providing music therapy to people across the UK, whilst also training the music therapists of the future and funding research to measure and improve the impact of its work.

Story

Who’da thunk it, eh - Purple Radio is a year old. And to help celebrate this momentous occasion we’re throwing a party on Thursday 20th March (the first night of the four day bank holiday weekend) upstairs at the Big Chill House in Kings Cross, London, where we’ll be treated to the delights of back to back dj sets from Purple Radio birthday boys and girls: Boo, Dr Piz, Johnny Clash, King of The Delta Blues, Creeeday & Monkaiboy.

We’re also using the party as an excuse to raise some funds for Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy. So sign up here to secure your place on the invite list and to give some much needed funds to what I'm sure you'll agree is a very worthwhile cause. Big thanks to Vannie for suggesting it.

Cheers

The Purple Radio rabble.
