Story
Superb! All done and with a great deal of walking (funny that). I've completed the challenge with no major injuries. In fact, not even a blister! We completed the entire Annapurna Circuit in 18 days and met many new found friends along the way.
To the left is a photo of Tom, Giles and myself at Thorung La, the highest walking pass in the world at 5416m. We're all smiling as we haven't seen the steep hike down behind us yet! Thanks you guys and everyone else in the group who kept us on the right track.
Thanks to everyone who has sponsered me so far. I know that I'm doing another collection on my return so this thanks goes to you all aswell.
Pre-trek page....
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I think I could be in trouble! I've signed up for a 300km trek in Nepal departing in less than a week and know that I need lots of help to keep me going! So, all you out there who have a spare £ or 2 please dig deep and help as you can as each penny will be in the back of my mind to push me on!
As some of you will know, my god daughter Zoe has Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome which most people haven't heard of before. The trust that I am keen to raise money for helps and support families who need it whenever required.
The trek...
The Annapurna Circuit, 22 days, approx 300km and going up to a dizzy height of over 5,400m. Breathtaking views apparently ... I know I'll be breathless!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
