As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme for 2014, Q8Oils will be supporting the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Flying seven days a week, 365 days a year, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) is an independent charity providing a life saving, rapid - response emergency service to over five million people across Yorkshire. The service covers major cities, motorways and rural and isolated locations in the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks.

Ten tough employees of Q8Oils are embarking on one of the most exciting and demanding challenge Yorkshire has to offer to raise money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The Three Peaks of Yorkshire challenge is a 25 mile circular walk which starts and finishes at Horton-in-Ribblesdale, visiting the three highest peaks in Yorkshire (Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough). The walk will begin at 6am and our aim is to complete it under 12 hours. And with the aid of several training exercises to get the team in shape, we will walk the 25 miles circular walk on Saturday 5 April 2014. Q8Oils is also inviting staffs and their friends and family to take part or make donation for this event.
