Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Around about a year ago myself and the IMED team trekked up Mount. Snowdon with SKT Welfare. It was a fantastic success, so this year we are trekking up the highest peak in England - Scafell Pike.

We're supporting SKT Welfare's Springs of Hope Campaign - a family centre based on the Turkish border next to Syria. It's a devastating and heartbreaking crisis for the many people affected and this is especially true for the children of Syria. SKT Welfare brings hope for those children which have only known a world of war and unrest by providing them with shelter and education. The Family Centre equips children with full healthcare, education facilities including the English language, arts and sports. Furthermore what makes the centre more unique is that widows are also looked after and helped to be a part of sustainable business start ups. I've personally spoken to the volunteers that went over to set the centre up and it truly is a magnificent cause which amazingly operates on a 100% donation policy (every penny donated goes directly to the cause!).

Please support me by donating whatever you can as it really will make a difference for the children and widows affected by this tragic crisis.

Thanks you,

Qasim
