My name is Derek Gore, better known as "Kipper" to most. I'm a 54 year old local man and owner of DMG timber LTD, a small family run business on the outskirts of King's Lynn.
For some time now my wife and I have been successful in raising money for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, more specifically for the cancer care and treatment centre. To date we have raised in excess of £7500.

This is a cause close to our hearts having both had family members affected by cancer. We are very pleased with our recent efforts in fundraising for this worthy cause. However, I have decided to step it up a gear and challenged myself to a task of epic proportions; I am planning to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats, a distance of approximately 1150 miles. I hope to raise £5000.
