Mid 2007 we decided it would be a good idea to walk from one side of the country to the other following the legendary Wainwright's Coast to Coast walk. While this started out as more of a personal challenge something like this goes hand in hand with raising money for a worthy charity.
We wanted to go for a charity that is related to what we are doing so ended up choosing Mountain Rescue. They do some great work, in all weather at all times of the year and it's all dependant on donations. Hopefully we'll not need them on our adventure but some people may on theirs.
