The Prince's Trust Palace to Palace 2016 · 2 October 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Before I left Liverpool I was a keen cyclist and would often ride
with one of my friends on the Transpeninne trail from Liverpool towards Southport.

Sadly, he got a car, and I went travelling, meaning our fitness declined considerably. Our last bike ride was a short one! The palace to palace ride is my chance to come back with a vengeance, while raising money for a good cause.

Palace to Palace 2016 is a 45-mile cycle route in which almost 4,000 riders will be taking part.

By donating, you will be helping to create better opportunities for young people. This will help to level the playing field for those who have potential, but who have no means to reach it. The Prince's trust is particularly good at getting young people real-world skills that employers want.

Every penny you donate is eligible for GiftAid.

JustGiving promises not to sell your details on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity -- saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
