Story

What is the journey like for those who need alcohol treatment?

We work at HAGA, Haringey's local alcohol service, and so spend our time supporting people on their journey to recovery.  To raise money for our service-user projects, we'll be running ten miles on Saturday 24th November 2012 on a typical route to recovery in Haringey from the pub to a GP surgery; to our main service, HAGA, and on to our employment, training and education service, RISE; before heading to the library, where many of our service-users give back their own time volunteering; and finally to a coffee shop for a well-deserved cuppa.

The money we raise will go towards projects aimed at those who are in recovery from alcohol, such as our photography project, creative writing group, and special events.   Please dig deep and donate now!
