My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After competing in the cycling events at the British Transplant Games this year I've been selected to represent the UK at the 18th World Transplant Games in Gothenburg Sweden in 2011 (June 17th - 24th)

The games are organised to visibly demonstrate the benefits of successful organ transplantation, work to increase public awareness of its success and thereby increase organ donation rates, as well as promote the full rehabilitation and wellbeing of the participants.

All selected competitors in the UK are required to raise thier own funds for the travel, accommodation, sporting equipment and uniforms as there is no national funding for this organisation. The minimum cost per person is 1200 pounds, some of which I hope to fund myself. If fundraising is successful any excess funds will go to TSUK (Transplant Sport UK to help fund other competitors.

Thank you for your help.
