Running a marathon is a goal I have always had, running the London Marathon is therefore the ultimate goal. After fighting off shin splints, injuries and sprained ankles, this is the year that I will complete the marathon and to raise money to help children in need, makes the training and effort all the more worthwhile.
 
I have spent the last 10 years of my life living in developing and emerging markets, countries like Vietnam, China and Thailand, watching the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Whilst trying to stay fit I have run past some incredibly inspirational people in these countries, people who manage to live where others would not even get out of their fancy cars. By running the marathon, and getting your sponsorship it will allow me to put something back, to help those perhaps not so fortunate as you and I.
 
I will be putting everything into running 26.4 miles, if you could put something in to help the poorer children of the world, it would be most appreciated.
