<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>I am taking part in the Great North Run on Sunday 18th September 2011 to raise funds for Clic Sargent (for children with cancer).&nbsp;</p> <p>This charity has been part of my life for almost 10 years now since&nbsp; 20 December 2001, the day my world fell apart, the day i was told my son James was diagnosed with an unoperable brain tumour. This charity has supported James, myself and the family and helped us through our horrific decisions and held our hands&nbsp;on the rollercoaster of what we call life, aswell as being there throughout James' long haul of 4 years of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.</p> <p>They will be with us to the end of James' life, and beyond,&nbsp;guiding us through the most difficult and stressful time of our lives.&nbsp;Making sure we are coping and&nbsp;most importantly&nbsp;James' little sister Katie who is going to need all the support and comfort we can give her.&nbsp;</p> <p>please please PLEASE support me, and in turn this fabulous charity... if not&nbsp;for me,&nbsp;then as&nbsp;a way&nbsp;to celebrate my little lad's life, and to help families in the future&nbsp;to&nbsp;receive the support every family deserves in this nightmare of a situation.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
