My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2011 I am attempting to become the first woman to complete the Enduroman Arch 2 Arc triathlon and thus set a new world record for this event. This is one of the most gruelling triathlon events in the world. The event starts with an 84mile run from Marble Arch in London to the Dover coast, is followed by a swim across the English Channel to the French coast, and concludes with an 184 mile cycle ride from the French coast to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. The clock starts when you leave Marble Arch and doesn't stop again until nearly 300 miles later when athletes cross the line in Paris.
Training will be intensive and will require a huge commitment. Knowing I am helping to make a difference to the lives of our military personnel who have returned injured from their time in theatre is motivation enough to keep going when things get tough. Please please take the time to make even a small donation to the charity, with the operational tempo ever increasing, it needs all the help it can get.
