As most of you know, I broke my ankle in a fell race at the start of November. Running is such a massive part of my life, so when it was suddenly gone it was very, very tough! I realised how much running helps with stress and general wellbeing and also realised, that although I have had such great support from people around me, those with mental health problems do not always get that same help. So this is perfect timing! I am so grateful to have been discharged from the hospital and to be allowed to start running again. I plan to use this challenge to build back up again, and hopefully raise some awareness and funds for a great cause along the way!
