Hi and thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

I'm raising money for Raleigh International, a fantastic charity that works with young people in the UK and overseas. I'm aiming to raise at least £1200 by the end of May. This is part of the challenge of the Raleigh Leadership Development Expedition to Namibia which I'm taking part in through a scheme at work. We'll be building a school playground for a remote community in the dry Kaokoland region in the North-West of Namibia. This will contribute to Raleigh's long term work towards the Millenium Development Goal of Universal Primary Education.

As part of the fundraising we will be tackling the Welsh 3000s: http://www.welsh3000s.co.uk/  I'm aiming to climb at least 3 mountains over 3000ft in 2 days. This will be a huge achievement for me as the biggest physical challenge I'll have attempted in my recovery from ME - 5 years ago it was difficult just to walk to the end of the road. Another team, including my colleague and expedition mate, John, is attempting to climb all 15 mountains!!
