1. I will not be hungover during the triathlon, or drink champagne all weekend before the race as my attempt at carbo-loading.

2. I will not fall off my bicycle and lie on the road whimpering during the race until the BTA official helps me fix my bicycle.

3. I will actually try my best to train and will not convince myself that simply looking at training schedules or running after the bus qualifies as training.
