Following the success of my first Sponsored Write in Ealing's three Starbucks braches last September (supporting Macmillan's annual World's Biggest Coffee Morning), I will be returning with published and unpublished writers for a second and, with your help, target-beating year!

Please sponsor me, my glamorous assistants playwright James Graham and novelist Lucy-Anne Holmes, and our many friends who are taking part. And share your stories when you make a donatation.

 I started fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of my friend Sophie Porter (formerly Spring) in 2007.
