On the 17th August 2019 myself and a group of friends will be taking on the Yorkshire three peaks challenge. The three peaks route is 24 miles and includes 1585m of ascent including the peaks of pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough all in 12 hours. Anyone that knows me knows fitness isn’t my strong point in the slightest, for some this will be a walk in the park but I’m looking forward to the challenge. 

I have chosen Starlight children’s foundation, a charity I’ve worked with before many years ago. Starlight brightens the lives of seriously ill children by granting wishes of a life time and providing fun and laughter to children in hospitals and hospices across the uk. The reason I chosen to support this charity as I admire the work they do for so many children who are suffering with life threatening or life shortening illnesses.
